The Can-dolier
While golfing, I enjoy a nice refreshing beverage (or two) as i’m pipin’ drives and sinkin’ 30 footers. The problem I always ran into though, was storage space on my golf bag for not only my sunflower seeds, but also my water and other golf items.
Introducing the Can-dolier (bandolier for cans). I started by weaving a square-knot paracord belt to attach to the side of the bag, with some bracing straps to keep it from swinging all over the place while I walked down the fairways. I attached a number of can sleeves by weaving a simple two-point harness type fastening device, effectively hammocking the drink sleeves. I had a little space left over to add a few tactical golf ball holders as well as a spot where I could hang my laser range finder. And of course, to obscure any contraband from clubhouse staff, I added a towel to shroud the cans from view; on particularly hot days, I drench this towel to provide a little evaporative cooling.
Plus, when I flip the towel up I feel like Clint Eastwood :)
